Footprint Zero have installed a 400kWp solar PV systems for the real estate investment company Clearbell, on their property in Coventry. The systems was self-funded and has helped Clearbell achieve the highest EPC rating for a building that the local assesors have ever awarded.

The 400.4kWp system includes 910 JA Solar JAM54D40 430-455/LB monocrystalline, n-type, bifacial solar panels and 3 Solar Edge inverters and power optimizers. The system was fixed to the roof using a Schletter mounting system and has a predicted annual yield of 354,330kWh, with annual carbon savings of 62.9 tonnes.
Ivegate Ltd completed the installation in just 6 weeks, demonstrating how quickly solar can be installed in order to reduce bills, cut carbon and support the UK’s transition to net zero. The local energy assessors have already surveyed the site for a new EPC rating and the building has now achieved an A+ rating which is the highest possible rating for a building’s Energy Performance Certificate.
