Footprint Zero is a commercial solar consultancy and developer with over 500MW of installation experience across the UK. We work with businesses at every stage of the solar journey from initial feasibility to full project delivery and long-term management and we approach every project with the same standard: rigorous, honest and focused on what actually works for your business.

Our founding team spent their careers in commercial solar development building and delivering large-scale projects across the UK. That background gives us a developer’s perspective on every project we take on: we assess each site properly, model the economics accurately and recommend solutions because they fit, not because they’re the easiest option to place.

We offer self-funded installations, co-ownership arrangements and fully funded Power Purchase Agreements. Discover

We start by understanding your business, your building and your energy situation properly. That means looking at your consumption, your assets, roof space, land, car parks, your current tariffs and your commercial objectives. We don’t make assumptions and we don’t rush this stage. Getting it right here is what makes the rest of the process straightforward.

Develop

We produce a clear feasibility study and business case, with honest projections based on your specific circumstances. Once you’re ready to proceed, we carry out a detailed site survey and produce structural assessments, system designs and a fixed quotation. Everything is explained in plain English. If something doesn’t stack up, we’ll tell you.

Deliver

We manage the installation process through to energisation, working with trusted installation partners and maintaining oversight at every stage. We also provide ongoing operations and maintenance, so your system continues to perform as intended long after the panels go up.
